Ruth is married to Luke, and supports Hudson’s Hope Chapel as a volunteer in various areas of ministry . She is a qualified teacher with over 20 years of classroom, management, and leadership experience in schools. She has also worked in children’s ministry, both as a volunteer and in paid roles, including working as a Children’s and Family worker for Tynings Lane Church in Aldridge, in the UK.
In addition to her work with our local school, Ruth oversees our children’s ministry and outreach at Hudson’s Hope Chapel. Ruth ensures that there are always age-appropriate ways for our children to connect with God during our Sunday services, and helps us explore ways to reach the next generation as we grow as a church. She also equips our other children volunteers as they minister to the community.
In addition to her role with Children’s and Families, Ruth supports the chapel in areas of administration and community outreach and care, especially among our ladies, helping to ensure we manage our affairs effectively, grow and develop our connections with the wider community, love those in our congregation well, and ensure no-one falls through the cracks.
Ruth holds a current RCMP Vulnerable Sector check, in addition to an extended, international police check from the UK.
